Wang Baek-su is a young man whose name, ironically meaning "King Unemployed," perfectly encapsulates his reality in modern South Korea. Burdened by debt and navigating a society where joblessness is rampant, Baek-su's life is a constant hustle. Yet, beneath his struggles, he possesses an unyielding spirit and a knack for finding himself in the most unexpected situations. He may owe money to loan sharks, but in his heart, he believes he's rich. Baek-su's chaotic existence is soon upended when he's drawn into a hidden world where ancient Korean mythical beings, the Dokkaebi, walk among mortals. As he grapples with their eccentricities, a startling revelation emerges: Baek-su might be the long-lost heir to the powerful ST Group, a corporate empire shrouded in family secrets and internal power struggles. Suddenly, he's caught between boardroom politics and an escalating mythological war involving the Yellow Emperor's Army and Dokkaebi Legions.
