Synopsis
In a world governed by Narrative Determinism, history is not chosen but it is drafted. Every war, tragedy, and triumph is meticulously written by an invisible entity known only as 'The Author.' In this grand epic, there are chosen Main Characters blessed with plot armor, and then there are the 'Footnotes' as the billions of ordinary souls fated to suffer and die just to move the plot forward. Julian is an ordinary archivist who possesses a cursed trait: the ability to read the world’s upcoming Drafts. He knows the exact page where his own life is scheduled to end as a nameless casualty. Accepting his fate, he waits for the end. That is, until he meets Commander Vane, a brilliant man physically forced by the narrative to commit atrocities because he was scripted to be the arc's 'Tragic Villain.' Armed with nothing but an archivist's pen and an existential fury, the Footnote and the Villain team up to do the unthinkable: glitch the universe, reject their assigned roles, and rewrite the story from the margins.
