I would like to take a moment to provide an update regarding [The Yandere Villainess Must Fall] and its upcoming schedule.
I had originally hoped to maintain a consistent upload schedule throughout August. However, as you may have noticed, the updates have been rather irregular. Unfortunately, I fell ill at the beginning of the month. At the time, I expected to recover within a week or so, but my condition has instead continued to worsen.
The exhaustion has become quite severe, to the point where even my usual daily activities have become difficult. As a result, I have also been unable to properly focus on writing or find the energy necessary to work on the novel.
I am sure this news may be disappointing to those who have been patiently awaiting new chapters, and I sincerely apologize for having to take a break. However, given my current condition, I believe it would be best to step away for the time being and allow myself the time to recover.
As some of you may know, [The Yandere Villainess Must Fall] was written as part of a contest, with the submission period ending on August 31. Once submissions close, the entries will proceed to the judging period. With that in mind, I felt this would be an appropriate point to step back and focus on getting better.
At the moment, I am unsure whether I will be permitted to continue uploading chapters during the judging period from September to October. I will look into the contest rules regarding this, and if updates are allowed, I will make another announcement once I am well enough to resume writing.
In the meantime, I may still share some character illustrations featuring those we have encountered so far. While these will not be new chapters, I thought it would be a nice way to share something with everyone during the break.
For now, I would simply like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported the novel.
Your comments and reactions have brought me an immense amount of joy, far more than I could properly put into words. Knowing that there are people who look forward to each chapter and genuinely enjoy the story has meant a great deal to me. Every comment, reaction, and kind word has been deeply appreciated.
I sincerely hope you will continue to enjoy the story while I am away, and I look forward to returning with more chapters once I am feeling better.
