I actually don't mind having two protagonists, it just makes this more fun. And both of them just happened to be uniquely interesting. I can't wait for future chapters 😊

If I had a nickel for every time a lawful good protagonist had to go against their nature and pretend to be evil in an academy setting to prevent the end of the world, I’d have 2 nickels. While that’s not a lot, it’s weird it happened twice.

I suspect that much like Astraea is playing the “villainous duchess” he is playing the “womanising scum”

Astraea is probably the original vessel of blight in the original game. By not fulfilling her destined fate is where most things had gone awry. I had a slight suspicion that Kairen will force himself to take the villain role eventually, and I wonder how Astraea will react to it.

And if Kairen really did end up as the villain, I can already see Astraea blaming herself for being unable to save him the second time. But this is just my thoughts, chapter is so long to release I can't stop thinking of what will happen later in the story. I just hope a happy ending awaits the two of them, and also I really am hoping they get together.

I'm quite relieved that quest system is back. Though my previous 20k atoms are gone, which kinda sad.

Also having to return to c40, even though I've read upto c132. I don't even know how to feel about this, but since we already had the ability to get atoms again I guess this was reasonable.

And I assume this OG novel was already completed (c182 is the final chapter). This explains why there's no more update for the past weeks. It's really unfortunate but what's done is done, all I can do is to stack up atoms and read all 50 starting from c133 till the end, though this would take awhile.

About the atoms... it's currently unusable, I think. I can earn them now but it seems I can't use it yet to unlock chapters. Well I know we're just getting started since the quest system had just been implemented so it's understandable atleasr. So subscription, lineage(?) and helixes were still the ways to view the later chapters

Hmmm I'm also curious if the amount of atoms needed to unlock a chapter remains the same as last time (1k atoms = 1 chapter). And from what I know, 100 helix amounts to 1000 atoms, so if we go with that calculation in mind, the last 50 chapter costed 500 helix to unlock which means only using atoms to get all 50, u needed about 250k atoms. That's definitely alot and I don't think I'll be seeing the ending of this story anytime soon.

It's very possible that to reach 30s before you see the ending. That is unless I can find money and pay to sub, I guess I'll consider a part time job XD
