Hey! I'm glad you decided to, and got to keep writing this. I was really worried that I'd never get to read more of this when it wasn't one of the top 3 of the competition. I have to say I'm loving what I've read so far and I'm excited for more.

I'd have used a luminary subscription on the novel if the service wasn't broken for me so I'm using helixes to read ahead of what's available for free, but that's neither here no there. I know you mentioned you won't be responding, but seeing your author's notes I just felt like I should I post something here for you, in case you ever end up reading it.

Chapter 32 seems to be missing. In case it changes in the future, this was written on July 26, 2025.

What an interesting episode! I did feel like the story bounced around in a bit of a confusing way a few times, especially during the chimera fight. (Like when the group escaped the cage but were suddenly in front of a giant chimera. Or later when the group was suddenly reunited with Lowe. Also towards the end when all of a sudden Eugene has a Manor, but I thought they were at the Mage's tower? it was all kind of confusing.

Still, loving what I've read so far.

The fights have been interesting. I'm really liking the duality of the two protagonists, and it's awesome to see character growth that doesn't take hundreds of chapters or a drop of the hat.

I do hope Reene's misunderstanding regarding Kairen not being there gets resolved soon.
