So out of a force of 400 (excluding Hardy's men) there were roughly 100 casualties (30 killed, 10 fatally wounded, 10 severely wounded, and 50 lightly wounded).

So a 25% casualty rate and 10% fatality rate. I'm no military expert but I believe that would be low, especially given the discrepancy in size between the two forces.

@kelvout 100%. I'm not sure how many of the novels are going to be adapted but it'd be nice to see the ant battle animated.
