Hmm, I feel that if you found a way to subtly imply these feelings in the story, it would’ve matched well with the story. In the end, it’s more so just a philosophical disagreement with the story, rather than a true flaw.

Mmmm, while I do believe having a very “plot-driven” story is an advantage, it wouldn’t have hurt to have had a couple chapters take a sideline & develop the characters/dynamics more. I have a stomachs for nearly all things literature
