Unbelievable 🤦as much as y'all get to criticize the book, make your comments and all, many of you went overboard for nothing. It's a first chapter and beginning of a story for a reason. Except the comments are on all 20 chapters written so far. Good thing the book made it as the grand winner of the contest, take that suckers!😂

Especially the one that started their comment with ' I'm usually lenient' Yh, that was very lenient of you. Not bothering to read the next few chapters before being so 'lenient' Those of you trying to leave 'reviews' , try checking out the comment section on royal road and learn when to blab, when to wait and how to leave critics without being an ass.

I'm still not sure how it got first place. The dialogue needs a lot of improvement. Reason behind events is too laid back it hurts🥲 However, the story's not so bad? 🤷 I hope the author improves.

You seem very angry for a first chapter? Claiming the 'story' is bad when we only have a premise, but then going on and on about writing...I agree that it has a lot of issues though. My biggest gripe was how the actions of Claudius are handled... I mean attacking the Kind (father) and then killing the brother that fast without any tension or nothing... I agree can agree with your conclusion, but i read worse on here.

If Astarte was a better maid and did a good job protecting him, she woulnd't have done this badly.

Also the formal speech is already taking its toll on me.
